Servants…

1. Put Others Before Themselves.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…
Philippians 2:3-5 (NIV)

2. Keep Jesus at the Center of Their Thoughts and Actions.

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Philippians 2:5-8 (NLT)

3. Mature in Their Spiritual Development.

Dear friends, you always followed my instructions…Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:13-14 (NLT)

4. Serve Without Complaining.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God…”
Philippians 2:14-15 (NIV)
