“Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.” But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’ “In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse–the whole nation of you–because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty.

THE PROBLEM
1. GOD WILL BLESS ME WHEN I RETURN WHAT BELONGS TO HIM.

Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.” But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’ “In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse–the whole nation of you–because you are robbing me.
Malachi 3:8-9

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

THE SOLUTION
2. GOD WILL BLESS ME WHEN I FOLLOW GOD’S STANDARD FOR GIVING.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

THE CHURCH BLESSING
3. GOD WILL BLESS MY HOUSE OF WORSHIP AS I GIVE FAITHFULLY.

THE PERSONAL BLESSING
4. GOD WILL BLESS ME ABUNDANTLY AS I TITHE REGULARLY.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
